Travel Blog: Tea Time at The Langham Pasadena + My Favorite Seasonal Pieces

Tea time at the Langham Pasadena

How many people can say that they absolutely love their hometown?! I can!! I love coming back to Pasadena, California and wish I did more often. When I do come home, my absolute favorite hotel to stay at is The Langham Pasadena. I took a trip back home to attend the annual Queens Breakfast (Fun Fact: I am a former Rose Princess). Of course I wanted to stay at the Langham Pasadena as it holds a very special place in my heart as I attended my Queens Breakfast at the Langham when it was the Ritz Carlton… *cough* a long..long.. time ago lol….!

Beautiful photo of the hotel and Horseshoe Garden.

I spent 2 wonderful days at the Langham and it was the perfect backdrop to showcase some of my favorite seasonal looks from my favorite local boutique in Denver, Lady Jones on Tennyson. I even dressed my sister up for tea time!!

The tradition of Afternoon Tea is an important signature of The Langham brand worldwide. We enjoyed a selection of savory tea sandwiches, scones with Devonshire cream, fruit tarts, mousse torts and French macaroons along with a variety of the finest teas. All of the food literally was too pretty to eat, so of course we mostly to photos of it! The atmosphere in the Lobby Lounge is breathtaking with floor-to-ceiling windows, offering picturesque views of The Horseshoe Garden and San Marino.

Lovely furnishings in the Tea Salon.

The Grounds of this historic hotel had several gorgeous gardens and little paths for quiet strolls with the babies. I found a garden of cactus 2x bigger than me and was perfect to shoot one of my favorite looks for the holiday! I mean, I can’t be the only one that relates cactuses to Christmas?!

Now for the fashion: A lot of the items featured are from one of my favorite boutique back home in Denver called Lady Jones.  Unfortunately, they do not have an E-commerce site, but you can feel free to call  *see link above* if you see an item that you must have! I also did provide links to shop the same items online for convenience.
